Day 01: Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi you will be received and transferred to hotel by
our representative. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast you will proceed for a full day temple tour of Delhi.
The temple tour of Delhi covers the Akshardham temple, the Bahai temple,
the Chattarpur temple, the Birla temple etc. Overnight will be at the
hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Udaipur
In morning you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Udaipur.
Upon arrival you will check in at the hotel. Later we will take you for
a half-day city tour of Udaipur covering the City Palace, Sahelion Ki
Bari, Lake Pichola etc. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Udaipur
Breakfast at the hotel. Later in the day we will take you on excursion
to Eklingji, Nagda and Nathdwara. Eklingji is located about twelve miles
to the North of Udaipur in Rajasthan. Eklingji (Shiva) is said to be the
guardian deity of Mewar. Nathdwara is one of the most celebrated
pilgrimage shrines of India, enshrining Krishna as Govardhana Giridhari.
Nathdwara is situated 48 km north east of Udaipur. Stay overnight at the
hotel in Udaipur.
Day 05: Udaipur - Ranakpur - Jodphur
After breakfast at the hotel you will be driven to Johdpur via Ranakpur.
Ranakpur is known for its beautiful and exotic Jain temples. Upon
arrival at Johdpur you will check in at the hotel. Overnight will be at
the hotel.
Day 06: Jodhpur - Osian - Jodhpur
Breakfast follows a full day excursion to Osian Temples. Osian was a
great trading center between 8th to 12th centuries. Today Osian is a
desert oasis with 16 Brahamanical and Jain temples, beautifully sculpted
and designed, most of which have stood ravages of time. Return back to
Jodhpur for overnight stay.
Day 07: Jodhpur
After breakfast you will be taken for a half-day city tour of Mandore.
Mandore was the former capital of Maharajas of Marwar and is located
about 5 miles North of Jodhpur. Here one can see the dewals or cenotaphs
of Jodhpur's former rulers. Later in the afternoon explore the rural and
tribal life of Rajasthan, as we will take an excursion to Bishnoi
Villages. The Bishnois are a community of nature worshippers and are
lovers of wild animals and plants. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Jodhpur - Bikaner
Get ready to explore yet another fascinating place in Rajasthan as we
take you to Bikaner via Deshnoke. Deshnoke is known for the Karni Mata
temple. It is also called the rat temple. Upon arrival at Bikaner you
will check in at the hotel and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Bikaner - Pushkar
Breakfast at the hotel follows a half-day city tour. Major attractions
at Bikaner are Junagarh Fort, Lal Ghar Palace and the Sun Gate. Later
you will drive to Pushkar and upon reaching Pushkar check in at the
hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 10: Pushkar - Jaipur
Pushkar is one of the celebrated holy places in India. Main attractions
at Pushkar are the Pushkar Lake and the temple of Lord Brahma. Breakfast
follows a half-day city tour covering the Pushkar Lake and the Brahma
Temple. Later on you will be driven to Jaipur, via Ajmer Sharif. At
Ajmer Sharif is located the famous Dargah of Sufi saint, Seikh Muinuddin
Chisti. Upon reaching Jaipur you will check in at the hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 11: Jaipur
Jaipur, also called the Pink city of India, is one of the most
fascinating cities of Rajasthan. Major attractions of Jaipur are the
Hawa Mahal, the City Palace, the Amber fort, Birla temple and the Jantar
Mantar. Breakfast at the hotel follows an excursion to Amber Fort. You
will ascend the Amber fort on elephant back. In the afternoon a half-day
city tour of Jaipur follows. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Jaipur - Karauli
After breakfast you will be picked from the hotel and driven to Karauli.
Upon reaching Karauli you will check in at the hotel. Karauli is a
remote ancient town and is known for its famous temples including the
Madan Mohanji temple, Kalyanji temple and Kaila Devi temple. Afternoon
city tour of Karauli follows. Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 13: Karauli - Agra
Get ready to explore the most important embodiment of love, the Taj
Mahal, as we drive you to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri. The great Mughal
emperor, Akbar, built the town of Fatepur Sikri. Main attractions at
Fatehpur Sikri are the Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Jodha Bai's Palace
etc. Upon reaching Agra you will check in at the hotel. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 14: Agra
Breakfast follows a full day city tour of Agra covering the Taj Mahal,
the Agra Fort, the tomb of Itimad-Ud-Daullah and Radha Swami Temple
(Dayal Bagh). Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 15: Agra - Varanasi
After breakfast you will be taken for an excursion to Mathura and
Vrindavan to visit the Krishna Janambhoomi and other temples. Main
tourist attractions in Mathura are the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple,
Archaeological Museum, the Vishram Ghat and the Dwarkadeesh Temple. In
the evening you will be transferred to the Tundla railway station for
overnight train to Varanasi. Overnight on train.
Day 16: Varanasi
Upon reaching Varanasi in the morning you will be transferred to hotel
by our representative. Later in the day we will take you to Sarnath, the
place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Main attractions at
Sarnath are the Buddha temple, the Dhamekh Stupa and the archaeological
Museum. Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 17: Varanasi - Delhi
Feel the mysticism and spiritualism of the holy city as we take you for
an early morning boat ride at River Ganges. After your breakfast at the
hotel you will set out for a sightseeing tour of Varanasi, covering the
Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple and the Benaras Hindu
University. Later on you will be transferred to airport for flight to
Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi transfer to the airport for onwards flight.
