Day 1: Arrival at Cochin
Upon arrival, you would be met by our representative and transferred to Bolgatty Palace. Overnight will be at hotel.

Day 2: Cochin - Munnar
In morning you will drive to the beautiful hill station of Munnar, housing world's highest tea-growing estates. Upon arrival, you will check-in at hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Munnar
You will have full day at leisure to explore on your own. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Munnar - Periyar
In morning you will drive to Periyar (90 km). Upon arrival our representative will transfer you to hotel.

Periyar- Periyar is spread across 777 sq. km of the Cardamom Hills in the Western Ghats, Thekkady is the home to one of the largest wildlife reserves in India. Alive with exotic flora and vibrant wildlife, it is the perfect getaway tucked away among hills. You will have afternoon at leisure. Overnight will be at hotel.

Day 5: Periyar - Kumarakom
You will go on an early morning boatcruise on the Lake of the famous Periyar wildlife sanctuary to see wild life. Periyar is an artificial lake or reservoir created by a dam on Periyar River is the heart of the Wildlife Sanctuary wild elephants, Asiatic Deer, Black Buck and even Tigers come to shores of the lake for a drink. Return to hotel for breakfast.

Thereafter you will drive through the winding "Ghats" lined with beautiful tea plantations and then arrive the fascinating countryside of low-lying palms and paddy fields to Kumarakom (150 km/ 4 hrs).

Kumarakom is a beautiful backwater village on the shores of the enchanting Vembanad Lake, criss-crossed with meandering waterways and medieval cottages. You will have evening at leisure. Overnight will be at hotel

Day 6: Kumarakom - Houseboat
Morning at leisure and in the afternoon board the traditional rice boats - "Ketuvallam" and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes relaxing in the tranquility of Kerala's beautiful scenery. Experience the way of life and activity of the local people, the one bedroom house with a lounge is exclusively for you, meals will be served with freshly bought produce from the local markets and cooked on board. Overnight will be on board.

Day 7: Houseboat - Poovar
Breakfast on board. You will sail to Alleppey and disembark at Puthenagady Jetty. Thereafter, you will drive onto Poovar.

Poovar Island is a beautiful resort enveloped by the most serene backwaters, and opening out to the sea and a dream golden sand beach. Poovar is truly a window into paradise. The tranquility is punctuated by the sound of waves and the birds. The acreage is abundant in well-preserved local flora, with hundreds of species of spices, exotic flowers, complete with banana and coconut groves.

Upon arrival, you will check-in at Poovar Island Resort, which is a mix of floating cottages, and conventional accommodation. The floating units are constructed on hollow lightweight concrete hulls. They are air conditioned and fully equipped with all modern amenities. Stay overnight at resort.

Day 8: Poovar
You will have full day at leisure for your own activities.

Day 9: Poovar - Trivandrum
In the morning you will be driven to Trivandrum for your flight back home.
