Nagaur lies midway between Jodhpur and Bikaner. The
area is arid and known for farming communities such as Jats and
Bishnois. The place is mainly noteworthy for the rustic rural charm and
colorful life seen on the way. The most interesting sight is that of the
red chillies being dried in open fields.
The town of Nagaur has a very impressive fort and a beautiful tourist
camp of luxury tents is pitched in its premises. A stay in the camp
offers a unique experience evocative of the times when Maharajas used to
camp on their outstation travels. Nagaur also has some noteworthy
