Day 01 Chennai
Upon arrival at Chennai our representative will transfer you to hotel.

Day 02 Chennai
After an early breakfast you will be driven to Mahabalipuram for a full
Day tour of Mahabalipuram and later Kanchipuram. Mahabalipuram is known
for its beautiful Ratha or the Shore temples. Here on the seashore is a
group of beautiful ancient rock hewn temples, which are fine examples of
Dravidian style of Architecture Kanchipuram was the ancient capital of
the Pallavas. It is famous as a city of 1000 Temples. The first temple,
dedicated to Shiva, was built in the 7th and 8th century and has
paintings on the walls. Other temples of interest are Ekambaswara,
Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi and Varadarajaswamy. Kanchipuram is also
famous for its silk.
Day 03 Chennai
Breakfast follows a city tour of Chennai. Visit the Museum to see the
Art and Bronze Gallery. You will also be driven through the flower and
fruit market, the High court, Fort museum, Marina Beach, Santhome
Cathedral and snake park. Checkout time is 1200 hrs from the hotel. Late
in the evening transfer to railway station for overnight journey to
Madurai.
Day 04 Madurai
Madurai is an important cultural and religious center of Tamil Nadu for
centuries. Upon arrival at Madurai in morning you will transfer to
hotel. In the afternoon a visit to the great Meenakshi Temple is
organized. The temple is dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva. Later,
you will be taken for a tour of the Tirumala Nayak Palace. It is
majestic building, built in the Indo-Saracenic style, famous for the
stuccowork on its domes and arches. Other attractions are the Alagar
Hills and the Tirupara Kundran Rock temple. Afternoon free. Stay
overnight at hotel in Madurai.
Day 05 Madurai / Periyar
After breakfast, you will be driven to Periyar National Park. The
Periyar National Park extends over a large area and forms a part of the
Western Ghats. While cruising on the Periyar Lake you can see the Wild
life. Elephants, wild boar, sambar, tiger, leopard, wild dog, langur
monkeys, etc. can be spotted easily in their natural habitat. Overnight
will be in Periyar.
Day 06 Periyar / Trivandrum
After breakfast you will be driven to Trivandrum, the capital of
Kerala. While traveling to Kerala you feel in the lap of nature as the
lush green and beautiful surroundings capture your imagination.
Overnight will be at Trivandrum.
Day 07 Trivandrum
After breakfast, you will have free time in Trivandrum and can take an
optional tour to Cape Comorin (Kanya Kumari, the southern most part of
India) or nearby places like Kovalam beach etc. Stay overnight at hotel
in Trivandrum.
Day 08 Trivandrum / Cochin
Breakfast follows a drive to Cochin, exploring the rural and beautiful
surroundings of the Kerala villages on the way. Overnight will be at
hotel in Cochin.
Day 09 Cochin/ Kochi
Breakfast follows a city tour of Cochin. Cochin has one of the finest
natural harbors on the west coast of India. Cochin has been a pot of
call for foreign traders from early times. Cochin has a Jewish
synagogue, Portuguese churches, mosques and Hindu temples. Other
attractions at Cochin include the Chinese Fishing Nets. Checkout time is
1200 hrs. You will transfer to railway-station for overnight journey to
Bangalore.
Day 10 Bangalore
The train reaches Bangalore in morning and you will be transferred to
hotel, followed by breakfast. In the afternoon you will be taken for an
afternoon tour of Bangalore city. Bangalore is one of the most beautiful
cities of India. It is also an important information technology center
of India. The main attractions at Bangalore include the Lal Bagh, the
Maharaja's Palace and Government Buildings. The Lal Bagh has a variety
of old trees, fountains, lotus pools, terraces and an assortment of
tropical and sub-tropical herbs. Stay overnight at Bangalore.
Day 11 Bangalore / Mysore
After breakfast you will be picked from the hotel and driven to Mysore,
the city of palaces. Upon arrival at Mysore you will transfer to hotel.

Day 12 Mysore
Mysore is one of the most important historical, cultural and heritage
cities of India. In the morning you will be taken for a tour of the
palace of the Maharaja. The palace is a harmonious synthesis of the
Hindu and Saracenic styles of architecture. Another important attraction
of Mysore is the Chamundeshwari Temple atop the Chamundi hill. From here
you get a panoramic view of Mysore city. On your way back, you can see
the Nandi Bull. You will have free time in the afternoon to relax. Stay
overnight at hotel in Mysore.
Day 13 Mysore / Chennai
In the morning you will have free time to relax and later transfer to
railway station to board the train for Chennai. Upon arrival at Chennai
Arrive you will be transferred to hotel.
Day 14 Chennai / Onward destination
After a fortnight tour of some of the beautiful, historical and
cultural towns of South India, it's time to return back with some fond
and cherished memories! Transfer to airport for onward destination.
