Day 01 Arrival at Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi you will be received and transferred to hotel by
our representative.
Day 02 Delhi
After breakfast you will be taken for a city tour of New Delhi and Old
Delhi covering the Birla Temple, India Gate, Parliament area, Government
buildings, Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar, Gandhi Memorial, Jama Masjid,
Red fort, Akshardham temple etc. Overnight will be at hotel in Delhi.
Day 03 Delhi / Jaipur
In morning you will be transferred to the New Delhi railway station to
catch the train for Jaipur. Upon arrival you will be transferred to
hotel. Afternoon city tour of Jaipur will follow, covering the Hawa
Mahal, the City Palace, Royal Observatory (Jantar Mantar) and Bazaar.
Spend the night at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 04 Jaipur/ Agra
A tour to the Amber Fort is organized in morning. Experience the Royalty
of the Rajputana as you ascend the Amber fort on elephant back. Amber
Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Later, you will be
transferred to railway station to catch the train for Agra. Upon
arriving at Agra, late in evening, you will be transferred to hotel and
spend the night at hotel.
Day 05 Agra
Get ready to explore one of the most beautiful monuments of the world
and epitome of love, the Taj Mahal! After breakfast, you will be taken
for a half-Day city tour of Agra, visiting the Taj Mahal, the Red fort
and the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula. In addition to this, you also have the
option to explore the beauty of the Taj Mahal at sunset. Overnight stay
will be at Agra.
Day 06 Agra / Gwalior
After breakfast you will be transferred to railway-station to catch the
train for Gwalior. Upon arrival you will be transferred to hotel. In the
afternoon, you will be taken for a tour of the Man Mandir, Gujari Mahal
(an archaeological museum), the Gwalior fort, Sas-Bahu Temples, Teli Ka
Mandir, Jai Vilas Palace, Tomb of Ghaus Mohammad and the Mausoleum of
Tansen. Stay overnight at hotel in Gwalior.
Day 07 Gwalior /Jhansi /Khajuraho
You will be transferred to railway-station, after breakfast, to catch
the train for Jhansi. Upon arrival at Jhansi, you will be driven to
Khajuraho. On reaching Khajuraho, you will have an afternoon tour of the
world famous Khajuraho temples. The beautiful Khajuraho temples were
built by the Chandela rulers, between 950 AD and 1050 AD. Stay overnight
at the hotel in Khajuraho.
Day 08 Varanasi
Spend some time at leisure after breakfast and later you will be
transferred to airport to catch the flight for Varanasi. Upon arrival at
Varanasi you will be transferred to hotel. You can spend the rest of day
at leisure and visit Sarnath in the evening. Sarnath is the place where
Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. It is one of the most important
Buddhist pilgrim centers in India. The main attractions at Sarnath are
the Dhamekha Stupa, the Dharmarajika stupa, the Buddha temple and the
archaeological museum. Stay overnight at the hotel in Varanasi.
Day 09 Varanasi
Get ready to feel the mysticism and spiritualism of Varanasi, as you
will be taken for a morning boat ride at the Ganges. After your
breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken for a city tour of Varanasi
covering the Ganga Ghats, the Bharat Mata temple, the Vishwanath temple
and the Benaras Hindu University. In the evening, you will be
transferred to railway-station for overnight journey to New Delhi.
Day 10 Delhi
Upon reaching Delhi in morning, you will be transferred to hotel and
spend the rest of the day at leisure. Later in the evening transfer to
airport to catch the flight back home.
